SFC Foundations – Chandigarh organised a campaign called Noor – e – Diwali from 5 November to 14 November, 2020 on the eve of Deepawali. This campaign was devoted to help in respect of employment and earning to Smt. Kamlesh, an old artisan and resident of Sector – 25, Chandigarh. We helped the artisan by buying and encouraging everyone to buy the cow dung diyas made by Smt. Kamlesh. We sold an appreciable number of around more than these divas at Rs. 5 each. This small contribution helped us to revive more lives and give happiness to her.We tried to make this Deepawali special for Smt. Kamlesh and also to promote eco-friendly Deepawali.
Also in Jalandhar , the team got Panchgavya Diyas. These diyas omit oxygen when lit and after that it can be converted into manure. Team sold more than 2100 diyas by putting up a stall in front of Shri MahaLaxmi Mandir, jalandhar. All the money earned from selling these diyas is being used to help poor and needy, and to put smile on their faces by giving them what they need.
