SFC Foundation – Chandigarh visited Shahpur Colony, Sector – 38 W, Chandigarh on 14th August, 2021 for the Independence Day celebration with the children, under Project Gyan.
The aim of the event was to impart the knowledge about India – its history, struggle, independence period and many more facts alongwith the inculcation of values such as love, care and respect for our country, our Mother India.
The team discussed various facts about Independence day with the children. A short Quiz was also held with them on the same theme. The little buds showed their creativity with full enthusiasm in ‘ Art Competition on Independence Day’ for which they were provided with the stationery items. The winners were also given gifts. The team also distributed stationery goodies such as notebooks, pencils , pens, colours, etc among children.
The event ended with the National Anthem to mark the significance of existence and respect for Mother India.
