OBJECTIVES-
- To help the people in need of blood.
- To distribute blood to hospitals like JJ, SION HOSPITAL, and COPPER HOSPITAL.
- To encourage people to come together and have a sense of responsibility towards
the society.
CONTENT-
The activists of SFC Foundations Mumbai unit along with the cells of Maniben Nanavati
Women’s College, NSS unit, Youth Red Cross, Blood Connect, Manas Blood Bank came
together and contributed towards the society by taking up the task of conducting a blood
donation drive. The donation drive took place in the campus of Maniben Nanavati Women’s
College.
A total number of 3 doctors along with 4 compounders took part in the blood donation
drive. In total 15 units of blood was collected i.e. 7.5 liters of blood was collected. The
number of donors were 15 people. The blood collected will hereby be distributed to various
hospitals that are linked with the Manas blood bank namely JJ Hospital, Sion Hospital, and
Copper Hospital. The blood will be further used for children. Overall it was a great event. All
thanks the event to the coordinators and volunteers.
